Every year, millions of Christians start observing the season of Lent. This is the season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. However, before Lent begins, there are huge parties and celebrations before the season of repentance begins. The biggest party/parade is called Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras, or in other countries, Carnival.
